Wedding Reception @ Columbia Restaurant St. Augustine

I was hired to DJ a wedding reception at the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine on 10-27-12.  It was a smaller reception, only about 45 people.  However, this gathering was proof positive you do not need hundreds of people to have a great time.  The restaurant, if you have not been there, is very picturesque. The wait staff and the food were outstanding.  I had a smaller setup, only two speakers, one sound active light and a laser.  However, for the size room it was perfect.  DJ Beau and I performed the Shoe Game, for the first time, with the Bride and Groom.  It was a complete success and the crowd loved it.  I would highly recommend this venue for a party or wedding reception, as long as you attendance is no more than 45.  The only negative was no designated dance floor however, with 45 people or less there was enough room for 15-20 people to have a great time dancing.  I love being a mobile DJ.  Platinum Entertainment DJ Services can't wait to entertain at this venue again.
I was set up from where this picture was taken.

10 Year Anniversary F.O.P. Lodge Jacksonville, FL

I was hired to DJ a 10th Anniversary Party in Jacksonville, FL at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5-30.  The Robinson's wanted to have a fun and upbeat environment.  So I provided lively music at just the right volume and they danced the night away while enjoying the lighting, special effects and lasers that is standard with all my performances.  The wife wanted a unique twist to her party so she hired Zumba Instructors for a portion of the night.  Everyone had a wonderful time and fun was had by all.  The Lodge was a great size.  Platinum Entertainment DJ Services wants to party with the Robinson's again in the future.  Being a Mobile DJ is so much fun and a great time with people during great events in their life.  I love it.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Palm Valley Gardens

I was hired to DJ a Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the Palm Valley Gardens.  The afternoon started at the rear of the 3 acre property under a beautiful oak tree.  The elegant Bride walked along the man-made tranquil blue pond and to her Groom while the music played, and there under that majestic Oak they shared their vows and expressed their eternal love for each other.

Once the Wedding Ceremony had concluded the guest migrated up to the rear of the House where the gorgeous reception was to be held under tent.  The guest enjoyed the open bar and appetizers while the couple had their pictures taken.

Once the Bride and Groom had arrived I announced the happy couple they danced their first dance as husband and wife and then the party started.  The delicious food was served and the music was filling the tent.  You could just feel the warmth of family and friends in the air even though the temperature was a bit chilly.

I will say this was the most dancing group of people I have ever performed for.  They were dancing during the dinner music and kept the pace for the rest of the night.
The Bride and Groom left a bit before the Reception was over however, that did not stop the party.  A good portion of the guest stayed all the way up to closing time enjoying each other’s company, the wine and music.  One of my favorite Weddings I have had the fortune to perform for.
